Doctor of Behavioral Health & Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy
Â
As a Doctor of Behavioral Health, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor (LIAC) I specialize in helping couples with conflict resolution, communication problems, reconnecting after past transgressions, financial differences, overcoming addictions, and intimacy issues. I also work with individuals who are struggling with purpose, career misalignments, depression, anxiety, and frustrations. People want to find a way to fulfill their hopes, dreams, and expectations because that is where we typically find peace, happiness, and joy. My approach is to help people stop new pain, repair injuries, heal, and thrive. It would be an honor to work with you.

I have been practicing behavioral health therapy since 1999.  My education includes a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University, a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Brigham Young University.  My training and clinical experience have helped me to see incredible progress with couples and individual seeking to improve their lives. My years of experience as a therapist and clinical supervisor have given me the skills and confidence to provide effective and worthwhile therapy. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy are my primary therapeutic approaches.
My family and I have lived in Arizona since 2005. I've been married for over 25 years with four children. I enjoy playing chess, singing, pickleball, traveling, and spending time with my wife and children.
