Free Community Classes

These are free community activities where the AFI team presents on topics that they feel will help the community and represents the needs of those that we serve.  Please come and spend the evening learning with us.

 Intensive Interactive Workshops

High valued events with an intensive focus on specialized topics and reflect the expertise of our skilled clinicians at AFI.  These workshops will provide a deep dive into resolving specific mental health issues, from relational issues to compulsive behaviors and emotional regulation. 

Group Therapy

Therapist lead groups are focused on providing support both clinically and socially on a regular rotating weekly or biweekly.  The AFI team utilizes a collaboration and attachment model to build healthy emotional regulation for our clients, as we also encourage them to help each other.

Put on Your Oxygen Mask First!

In a world where you are constantly bombarded with the needs of others, let us help you gain insight on how and when it is important to put your oxygen mask (self-compassion and resourcing) on first!

This free one-hour workshop will help you identify when your oxygen level (stress tolerance) is low and equip you with the skills and resources you need in order to recharge and refocus.

Parenting Influence and Time of Possession

Every parent is hoping to have influence in the lives of their children. In football, the team who dominates time of possession usually wins. In life, the parent who recognizes the value of time of possession, can increase influence by helping to shape time of possession in the lives of their children.  The goal of this presentation is to examine and evaluate the influence and time of possession models.
