Missy Soldner MC LPC - Bio
I believe that therapy is teamwork. Each client is the expert of their lives and holds the power within to change. As we partner together, I will help guide you to uncover and face challenges and unhealthy ways of being that hold you back in your life. I will also help you discover your strength and resiliency and help you own your power to change your life.
When working with clients, I strive to create a nonjudgmental, caring environment where you feel safe and valued on your road to healing. As each client’s needs are different, I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including, but not limited to, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor by the State of Arizona, I work with individuals 18+ as well as couples in a variety of areas including couples counseling, relationship distress, depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, stress management, poor self esteem, dysfunctional thought processes, grief/loss, trauma, coping strategies, and a variety of other challenging life situations.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 25 years, Adam and our kids and son in law. I also love chocolate, music, and being outdoors.
