Samuel Taylor LPC - Bio
After completing his bachelors degree in Psychology at Arizona State University, Sam returned to ASU to complete his Masters in Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Sam has significant experience working with adults with long-term care needs, grief, and end-of-life issues. He has also worked extensively with patients suffering from anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, substance use disorders and past traumas. Additionally, Sam has significant experience counseling clients with sexual addictions. Sam works with adults and adolescents; and offers both individual and couples counseling. He also has specific training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Sam values people and relationships. He focuses on developing positive, non-judgmental relationships with his clients, allowing them to feel comfortable sharing, processing, and working through significant past and current challenges. Sam feels that counseling is a heroic endeavor and he has a deep respect for those willing to open themselves up to honest therapeutic experiences.
Sam says his greatest blessing in life is his family. As a father of four, he enjoys time with his children and dating his wife of over 18 years. Sam loves to cook and enjoys the outdoors. He enjoys playing guitar, movies and trivia. He’s a car nut and avid DIYer. You will usually find him fixing, creating, or building something.
