“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” — Desmond Tutu
I believe healing happens best in a space where people feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. As a compassionate and empathetic counselor, I am committed to walking alongside clients with warmth, respect, and hope as they navigate life’s challenges. Some treatment modalities I use are EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing, which helps individuals experiencing trauma, depression and anxiety), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Person Centered, and art when working with my clients.  Â
My areas of interest include betrayal trauma, working with teens, sexual compulsions and addictions, anxiety and depression, substance abuse and adoption-related issues. I strive to tailor therapy to each person’s unique story, strengths, and goals, fostering resilience, restoration, and meaningful change.
Outside of my work, I have been married to my husband for thirty years, and together we have six children. I enjoy being outdoors—hiking, paddle boarding, biking, and swimming—and I love relaxing with a good romantic comedy. Music is also an important part of my life and a steady source of joy and connection.
