“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” — Desmond Tutu

I believe healing happens best in a space where people feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. As a compassionate and empathetic counselor, I am committed to walking alongside clients with warmth, respect, and hope as they navigate life’s challenges. Some treatment modalities I use are EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing, which helps individuals experiencing trauma, depression and anxiety), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Person Centered, and art when working with my clients.

My areas of interest include betrayal trauma, working with teens, sexual compulsions and addictions, anxiety and depression, substance abuse and adoption-related issues. I strive to tailor therapy to each person’s unique story, strengths, and goals, fostering resilience, restoration, and meaningful change.

Outside of my work, I have been married to my husband for thirty years, and together we have six children. I enjoy being outdoors—hiking, paddle boarding, biking, and swimming—and I love relaxing with a good romantic comedy. Music is also an important part of my life and a steady source of joy and connection.
