Paige Schickedanz LPC

As a licensed therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. We can work together to better understand difficult situations and resolve challenges in your life. By applying therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

I have a passion for serving others. I provide effective therapy services in a safe and caring environment that promotes personal growth, health, happiness, and spiritual well-being. I provide clients with ethical, professional, and confidential services. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in determining successful outcomes in treatment and finding joy in developing trust between us.

I use an interactive style of therapy that involves assessments, questioning, reflecting, listening, and goal-setting. Each client is seen as an individual with unique strengths. With over a decade of clinical experience, licensed in 3 states (AZ, OR, WA), and extensive training in Gottman therapy for couples and families, I am proud to be a part of Arizona Family Institute!

Life can be challenging!  That’s no surprise, but when the challenges become overwhelming and our inner strength is depleted, we are vulnerable to self-defeating emotions—fear, frustration, stress, anxiety, sadness, anger, and more.  When such negative feelings cloud our vision, counseling can provide a needed boost to help us rise above the difficulties and rediscover the light on the horizon.

My passion is helping people mend relationships, manage anxiety, fears, and frustrations; discover and unlock reserves of resilience; and persevere through--even flourish—in the face of life’s inevitable adversities.  With a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy from ASU, I am trained to work with couples, families, adolescents, and individuals. I look forward to helping you (re)discover connections, implement effective coping skills, and find resiliency regardless of what life sends your way!
