I believe that everyone has the tools within themselves which are necessary for healing. Therapy is a collaborative process to uncover those tools and help you increase your confidence in being able to access them whenever you need to through life’s trials. Healing looks different for everyone, and everyone accesses healing in different ways. In my practice, I utilize cognitive and creative methods to integrate the mind, body, and spirit to lead to a more whole and complete sense of self.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University in Secondary Education. I spent a decade teaching, but when I saw the increase in trauma and mental health concerns among the students, I decided to go back to school to be able to help this population in a different capacity. I recently graduated from Arizona State University with my master’s degree in Social Work.
I specialize in working with children and adolescents, but I welcome anyone who feels we might be a good fit. I have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Play Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
In addition to helping others, I am passionate about spending time with my family and friends, reading, being creative, and traveling.
