Danny Durrant LAMFT - Bio
Have you ever come to a point in your life where you just want to scream because you feel the weight of your responsibilities on top of life not going your way? That is okay—you are not alone! There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and I would love to go through that tunnel with you. I believe that, together, my clients and I can discover new tools that they do not have and sharpen tools that they do have. I work hard to help my clients feel safe to share their struggles and their emotions. I believe that emotions are important and should not be disregarded. Your emotions are important—don’t disregard them.
I graduated from Arizona State University with my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked with individuals who experience depression and anxiety. I have worked with children and adolescents as they adjust to difficult challenges that life throws at them. I have worked with couples and families who are turning to therapy to heal relationships. Depending on the needs of the client, I utilize different therapy approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When I am not working, I am spending time with my wife that I have been married to for five years and our two boys.
